On January, 18 2016 Elina Gubernatorova, the head of the ASU UNICO TEMPUS Language centre, has conducted a seminar for English language teachers “Boosting the English learners’ motivation by participating in free online courses offered
by the FutureLearn team” https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/. The partners of the team are world-leading academic institutions known for their teaching and research across a variety of fields.
During the seminar the speaker shared her experience in integrating some of the courses into her teaching practice, e.g. “Exploring English: Magna Carta”, and the English learners’ feedback. All of the them mentioned the usefulness and interest of that learning experience.
Special focus was on upcoming courses in Business and Management field such as “the Secret power of brands”
